Goods and Services Tax (GST) Refund
Tourists who wish to claim GST refund on their purchases made at Takashimaya Department Store and Takashimaya Square B2 will need to proceed to the Customer Service Centre at Level 3 with their original passport and receipt. Other terms & conditions apply.
HOW TO GET YOUR TAX REFUND
After making payment for your purchases, please proceed to the Customer Service Centre at Level 3 to apply for your GST refund.
Simply present the following items when applying for your GST refund:
・Original Receipts and Passport
・A Valid Social Visit Stamp in the Passport
・Credit cards used for payment (if any)
Tax Free Shopping in Singapore is digital and paperless now. Your original passport is the official document used to tag and retrieve your tax-free transactions when you shop in Singapore.
Go to the eTRS self-help kiosk at the airport with your goods, receipts, passport, and travel documents. Scan your original passport at the eTRS self-help kiosk and follow the instructions shown onscreen to complete the GST refund procedure.
Do not pack away your purchases in your check-in luggage. You may be required to show your goods and original receipts at the Customs Inspection Counter.
