SINGAPORE ROSE-CHAN DOLL

Rose Chan Doll is the mascot of Takashimaya and was born in the autumn of 1959. In the Christmas of 1994, Takashimaya Singapore presented ‘Rose Chan’ to Singapore for the first time. These ‘Valentine Rose’ were issued on a limited quantity of 3000.

Since then, her fans have seen her in a variety of different outfits evoking diverse moods and themes. In addition, she has donned a United Nations parade of ethnic costumes, including Spanish, Japanese, Peranakan, Dutch, Chinese and the traditional garb of a Venetian gondolier.
